Anxiety disorder
Understand the problem before to solve it

General overview
Phobias are irrational and intense fears of certain objects, situations, or activities.
Examples of specific phobias include fear of animals (dogs, cats, spiders), fear of enclosed spaces, emetophobia (fear of vomiting, either oneself or others), and more.
How many times have we told ourselves that, “rationally,” we know these objects or situations aren’t truly dangerous, yet we still can’t “apply” this knowledge, and the fear persists?
Phobias are characterized by anxiety, which leads to behaviors aimed at reducing that anxiety – such as avoiding or distancing ourselves from the feared object or situation.
The downside is that phobias can become highly debilitating, especially when they start to interfere with daily life, forcing us to change our habits or routines to accommodate our fear.
