Burnout
Understand the problem before to solve it

Introduction
If we look at the etymology of the word, where burn means “to burn” and out means “out,” we can define burnout as a state of exhaustion and physical, mental, and emotional fatigue that results from prolonged stress and sustained pressure.
It’s as if your body and mind have reached their limit and can no longer recharge. However, burnout is not the same as stress (which tends to be short-term), even though it can stem from it.
In daily life
Burnout affects our daily functioning – we feel like we can’t keep going, we’re constantly exhausted, our energy levels drop, our mood declines, and so does our motivation.
Behaviorally, this manifests in a noticeable way: we struggle to get things done, feel stuck, and can’t seem to find the strength to move forward.
Common physical symptoms include frequent headaches, persistent fatigue, muscle pain, and gastrointestinal issues – such as loss of appetite or nausea.
Meanwhile, behavioral symptoms may include difficulty concentrating, procrastination, social withdrawal, spending excessive time at home, a decrease in activities like exercise or outdoor hobbies, and increased irritability.
